The Warriors used a trademark third-quarter flurry to take control in Los Angeles, then outlasted Luka Dončić and the Lakers to win 119-109 in the second game of our opening night doubleheader.
“Our organized chaos took over in those first four minutes (of the third),” said Stephen Curry. “Warriors basketball took over.”
Jimmy Butler III led Golden State with 31 points, including while Curry added 23. The Warriors shot 49 / 43 / 90 from the field as a team.
Dončić paced the Lakers with 43 points, putting up his first 40-plus point performance of the new season.
