  • The Bucks and Lakers go down to the wire. Luka Dončić fouls out on Milwaukee’s game-winning free throws, while Giannis Antetokounmpo made two huge defensive plays on LeBron James in the two minutes to catalyze the victory.

Bucks escape victorious, 105-101

Milwaukee and Los Angeles went back-and-forth down the stretch, with Myles Turner and Jake LaRavia exchanging clutch threes in the final minute, but it was Giannis Antetokounmpo’s defense that sealed the Bucks’ victory.

Antetokounmpo was remarkably efficient offensively (21 points, 9-11 FG), while Kevin Porter Jr. (22 points, 7-14 FG) stepped up as Milwaukee’s leading scorer.

LeBron James and Luka Dončić combined for 50 points, 18 rebounds, 19 assists and just six turnovers, but the duo combined for 18 of 46 shooting.

Kevin Durant continues climbing the record books — moving into 7th on the NBA’s all-time scoring list Friday.

He has a team-high 20 points (7-11 FG) as Houston leads Portland 81-74 with four minutes remaining in Q3.

Dillon Brooks booms, Grayson Allen clutch, Suns win

Phoenix leads the league in clutch time efficiency and lived up to that reputation Friday, earning a 112-107 win at home against the Knicks.

Brooks’ tough-shot making was on display, drilling multiple contested threes as part of his 27 points (8-15 FG, 5-9 3PM, 6-6 FT) on the night. He also had seven rebounds and five assists. Devin Booker led the team in both categories, posting 31 points (10-23 FG) and eight assists.

New York and Phoenix delivered nearly identical team shooting slashes, but 17 turnovers for the Knicks versus just nine for the Suns made the difference. Grayson Allen generated the most critical turnover of them all, getting a key deflection and then knocking the ball off Mikal Bridges as both were along the sideline in the final minute.

Bridges struggled to the tune of 11 points (4-10 FG), while Jalen Brunson posted a team-high 27 points (9-19 FG).

Unsung heroes propel OKC

Kenrich Williams made critical plays on both ends, which combined with timely And-1s to help Oklahoma City overcome a 10-point deficit in the final four minutes of Friday’s 117-116 win over Memphis.

On the final possession, Grizzlies rookie Cedric Coward got clamped by Alex Caruso, with Williams denying Cam Spencer coming to receive a handoff. Oklahoma City gets the win on a night both teams were without superstar point guards. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (ankle) was unavailable, while Ja Morant missed his fourth straight game with a calf injury.

Jalen Williams finished with a game-high 26 points (9-18 FG, 8-10 FT) along with 10 assists and five rebounds. Second-year guard Ajay Mitchell continues profiling as a sleeper around the league and a blossoming player in a depth role. He posted 23 points (9-18 FG) and six assists.

Jaron Jackson had a team-high 23 points (9-14 FG). Coward finished with 13 points (3-9 FG). GG Jackson played with conviction offensively, finishing with 18 points (7-12 FG).

Clippers’ stars shine in win⭐⭐

Los Angeles 121, Brooklyn 105

In a wire-to-wire victory for the Clippers, connecting on 58.3% of 24 3PA made the difference as a pristine 59.2/48.3/89.5% shooting slash as a team was too much efficient multi-level scoring for Brooklyn’s offense to keep up with.

James Harden gets his revenge game victory, while third-year wing Jordan Miller (21 points, 9-13 FG) posted the second 20-point game of his career — falling one point shy of his career high.

Philadelphia notched a 52-42 victory in the rebounding battle, while only committing 12 turnovers vs. Orlando’s 18 on a night when both teams struggled from the field offensively.

Anthony Black was Orlando’s most efficient scorer (21 points, 7-12 FG, 4-4 FT), while Tyrese Maxey led the way for Philadelphia (29 points, 10-22 FG).
