Clippers seize momentum, survive final push

Kawhi Leonard finished with a game-high 31 points (9-19 FG, 12-12 FT), tacking on nine rebounds, seven assists and two steals as well. John Collins outpaced all Kings with 22 points (8-12 FG).

Both teams combined to shoot 19-for-58 from beyond the arc.

Sacramento narrowly won the rebounding battle and only committed 11 turnovers, but allowing 36 free throws versus making just 19 of their own more than made up the difference.

The Clippers move to 18-6 in the last 24 games.

Jerami Grant leads all scorers with 14 points (5-8 FG), while Jrue Holiday and Toumani Camara follow suit with 12 points each.

Despite that trio representing the game’s leading scorers, Portland has connected on just 5-for-20 3PA while Memphis has rained in 10-of-20 3PA.

Entering Friday’s contest averaging 22.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 5.7 assists on 49.1% shooting across his last six games, Rollins didn’t miss a beat in Milwaukee’s win over Indiana.

The 23-year-old ranks in the 74th percentile for efficiency and 95th percentile for frequency as a pick-and-roll ballhandler this season. He is committing a turnover on just 8.5% of such possessions, ranking in the 86th percentile.

Welcome back, Scoot Henderson

The 22-year-old steps on the court for the first time this season after dealing with an extended rehab following a torn left hamstring.

The No.3 pick from the 2023 draft averaged 12.7 points and 5.1 assists on 41.9% shooting in 66 games last year, but he struggled in transition and as a self-creator when he wasn’t running a pick-and-roll.

Stars shining bright, New Orleans tops Minnesota⭐⭐

After trailing by as many as 18 points as late as Q3, New Orleans emerges victorious.

Anthony Edwards (35 points, 11-22 FG, 8-9 FT) put on a shot-making clinic, but Saddiq Bey (30 points, 10-21 FG) and Zion Williamson (29 points, 11-13 FG) set the tone with physical bucket-getting inside. Bey truly anchored the Pelicans’ performance on both ends.

Rudy Gobert (12 points, 16 rebounds, three steals, two blocks) was active and impactful defensively, but New Orleans delivered timely buckets. Julius Randle was sharp with 24 points (9-18 FG), eight rebounds, seven assists and zero turnovers.

New Orleans rained in 44.1% of 34 three-point attempts, while Minnesota settled perhaps, converting just 49.1% of their attempts from inside the arc.

Andrew Wiggins matches him with a game-high 17 points (7-10 FG), while Norman Powell (15 points) and Bam Adebayo (12 points) join them with double-digit scoring.
