  • The Raptors, led by Scottie Barnes with 28 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists, 5 blocks and a steal, defeated the Cavaliers for the second time in as many tries this season. Toronto picked up a second consecutive win and sixth over their last seven contests.
  • Jalen Johnson wowed in the first half of Atlanta’s win over Utah, but he turned it up a notch over the final two quarters. He finished the night with 31 points, 18 rebounds, 14 assists and 7 steals, and is the only player in NBA history to record such a stat line.
  • The Hawks tied a franchise record with 15 made 3s in the first half. They went on to hit 24 in total, making it the most triples made in a single game in 2025-26.

Jalen Johnson goes OFF in Hawks’ W

Atlanta’s Jalen Johnson set new career-highs with 31 points (10-19 FG, 4-5 3PM), 18 rebounds, 14 assists and 7 steals in a 132-122 win over the Jazz. Tonight marks his third career triple-double in his fifth NBA campaign.

Johnson wasn’t the only one with a career night. Onyeka Okongwu went for a personal best 32 points with 11 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 3 blocks, recording a game-high +16 in 35 minutes of play.

Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen did everything he could to keep his team close, but they went cold down the stretch in the fourth quarter. The 28-year-old from Finland went for 40 points on 15-for-25 shooting and 6-for-12 from 3-point range.

In his third career start, rookie Ace Bailey put up a career-best 21 points on 8-for-13 from the field with 4 made 3s.

Suns stay hot, win 5th straight

Devin Booker (33 points, 7 assists) and Dillon Brooks (32 points) were brilliant in the Suns’ 133-98 win over the Pacers. It’s the fifth consecutive win for Phoenix, who is now 8-5 and in 7th place in the stacked Western Conference.

Andrew Nembhard (21 points, 9 assists) and Pascal Siakam (19 points, 5 boards) were two of four Pacers to score in double figures. Indiana falls to 1-11 on the season with tonight marking a sixth straight loss.

Another unfortunate note for Indiana is the early departure of Aaron Nesmith, who was ruled out with left knee soreness after stepping and sliding on a teammate’s foot in the second half.

Cleveland loses for the second time in three games, as they fall to 8-5 on the season. This was the first of a 6-game homestand for the Cavs, who host Memphis on Saturday night.

The Hawks are going for a fourth straight win when they visit the Jazz in Utah tonight (9 ET, League Pass).

Red-hot Suns host Pacers, aim for 5th straight W

Devin Booker leads Phoenix in scoring (28.2 PPG) and assists (7.0 APG) this season.

Despite Jalen Green (hamstring) missing all but two contests in 2025-26, the Suns have jumped out to an impressive 7-5 start through the first three weeks of the season. Devin Booker has been stellar, averaging 28.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 0.8 steals in 36.2 minutes.

Since Halloween night, Phoenix is 6-1, and they’ll be aiming for a fifth consecutive victory when they host the 1-10 Indiana Pacers tonight (9 ET, League Pass).

During this 7-game stretch, the Suns rank seventh in offensive rating (119.3), fourth in defensive rating (108.4), and sixth in net rating (10.9).

For the season, they’re tied with the Detroit Pistons (10-2, 1st in East) for second in the NBA in steals at 10.4 per game.

Raptors-Cavs tips off 3-game night in the NBA

Jarrett Allen led the Cavs with 30 points and 10 rebounds in their comeback win over Miami on Wednesday.

Cleveland center Jarrett Allen is coming off a 30-point, 10-rebound double-double that helped secure a 130-116 victory against the Heat during their first night of a back-to-back. The Cavs were without Donovan Mitchell (rest), Evan Mobley (rest) and Darius Garland (toe) on Wednesday, but they’ll get Spida and Mobley back for tonight’s tilt with Toronto.

Craig Porter, Jr., who could play a significant role again for the Cavs with Lonzo Ball (injury management) getting the night off, sparked with 19 points (7-12 FG, 3-3 3PM), 4 rebounds, 9 assists, 3 steals and 4 blocks with a game-best +21 in 32 minutes off the bench last night in Miami.

Mitchell (30.4 points per game, 6th in NBA) and Allen (16.5 ppg, 7.9 rpg) missed Cleveland’s 112-101 loss in the 2025 Emirates NBA Cup opener for both teams on Halloween.

Brandon Ingram, RJ Barrett and Jamison Battle scored 20 points apiece during Toronto’s win a couple weeks ago.

Scottie Barnes posted 14 points, 10 boards and 5 assists in the first matchup in Cleveland. He’s tallied three double-doubles in five outings since, including 15 points and 11 rebounds in Toronto’s 119-109 win over Brooklyn on Tuesday.

The Raptors currently rank second in the NBA in assists per game with 29.7, and they’re first in fast break points at 20.7 a night.
