Khris Middleton is off the free agent market and headed back to Washington as part of a six-team trade.
Dallas is trading Middleton to the Wizards, and the veteran forward will sign a three-year, $17.6 million contract.
The deal was officially announced Wednesday as a 6-team deal, incorporating multiple previously reported trades. ESPN was first to report the deal.

Middleton, a champion with the 2021 Milwaukee Bucks, has averaged 16.1 points per game through his career.
Middleton is a three-time All-Star who was traded by the Wizards to Dallas in February. The forward, who turns 35 next month, averaged 10.2 points in 63 games between Washington and the Mavericks this past season.
