Jusuf Nurkic is reportedly returning to Utah.
The Jazz have re-upped with center Jusuf Nurkić, who was averaging a double-double before nasal surgery ended his season at 41 games.
The 6-foot-11 Nurkić, originally acquired in June 2025 for Collin Sexton, rang up a nightly line of 10.9 points, 10.2 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.3 steals while providing a steadying presence in the middle for Utah. The news was first reported by ESPN. The deal was made official on July 9.
Nurkić’s strong relationship with Jazz coach Will Hardy was cited as a key factor in the decision.
