A trio of Hall of Fame players are coming back for All-Star Weekend.
Carmelo Anthony, Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady will join Austin Rivers as the four honorary coaches selected for the Castrol Rising Stars mini tourney.
NBA rookies and second-year standouts will be drafted onto three teams on January 27th, and a fourth team will be comprised of players competing in the NBA G League.

The four teams will compete in a tourney at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles at 9 p.m. ET on February 13th as part of the All-Star festivities.
Anthony, the 2013 NBA scoring champion, has scored more points than all but 10 players in the history of the NBA.
Carter, the 1999 NBA Rookie of the Year, played for eight teams during his exemplary 22-year career.
McGrady led the league in scoring twice and was named the NBA’s Most Improved Player in 2001.
Rivers, the most recent player of the bunch, averaged 8.5 PPG over his 11-year career and last played in the NBA in 2023.
