The Pacers went 33-17 in 1998-99 and began the playoffs by sweeping the Bucks out of the first round. In the semifinals, they swept the 76ers. Facing the Knicks in the Eastern Conference Finals, the Pacers lost in six games.
2000
The Pacers went 56-26 in 1999-00. They defeated the Bucks in the first round in five games, then beat the 76ers in six games in the semifinals. In the Eastern Conference Finals, the Pacers defeated the Knicks in six games. That set up an NBA Finals matchup against the Lakers, which the Pacers lost in six games.
2004
The Pacers went 61-21 in 2003-04 and swept the Celtics in the first round of the playoffs. They then defeated the Heat in six games in the semifinals. They met the Pistons in the Eastern Conference Finals and lost the series in six games.
2013
After finishing the regular season with a record of 49-32 in 2012-13, the Pacers eliminated the Hawks in six games in the first round of the playoffs. They also beat the Knicks in six games in the semifinals. Facing off against the Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals, the Pacers lost in seven games.
