2026 NBA Summer League: Warriors roll over Thunder

LAS VEGAS – Balanced scoring paved the way for the Golden State Warriors in their 104-79 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder at the 2026 NBA Summer League on Sunday.

Yaxel Lendeborg, the No. 11 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, tallied 14 points, two rebounds, four assists and three steals to lead six Warriors in double-digit scoring.

Golden State’s trio of Lendeborg, Nick Boyd (two rebounds, two assists) and Lachlan Olbrich (four rebounds, three steals) scored 14 points apiece.

Following a back-and-forth opening frame, the Warriors secured a 27-16 edge after 10 minutes of action.

They kept their foot on the gas until the end of the fourth, leading 53-38 at halftime before dropping 31 points in the final quarter to close out the contest.

The Warriors more than tripled the Thunder in fast-break points (19-6) thanks to an edge in steals (10-3). Golden State shot 15-for-41 (36.6 percent) from 3-point land.

Graham Ike chipped in 11 points, eight rebounds and two assists, while Lajae Jones (six rebounds) and Chance McMillian (three rebounds) each added 10 points off Golden State’s bench.

Bennett Stirtz, the No. 16 overall pick, scored 13 points on 5-for-10 shooting. Aday Mara, selected No. 12 overall, collected 10 points, nine rebounds and four assists. Payton Sandfort provided a spark with 11 points off the bench.

Both teams resume play Tuesday, with the Warriors (2-0) facing the Memphis Grizzlies (7 ET, ESPN) and the Thunder (0-2) battling the Denver Nuggets (9 ET, ESPN).
