Damian Lillard wins the 2026 State Farm 3-Point Contest, joining Larry Bird and Craig Hodges as the only 3x Champions.
LOS ANGELES – Damian Lillard isn’t playing in any NBA games this season, having suffered a torn Achilles tendon in April. But he was healthy enough on 2026 NBA All-Star Saturday to win the State Farm 3-Point Contest for the third time in the last four years.
Lillard, wearing a Portland Trail Blazers uniform again, won the final round with a score of 29, making 21 of his 27 shots, including one of his two “From the Logo” shots, worth three points apiece. The Phoenix Suns’ Devin Booker followed Lillard, had two perfect racks, and had a great chance to win, holding a score of 23 as he approached the right corner, his money-ball rack. He made the first two shots to pull within two of Lillard, but missed his final three shots. Charlotte Hornets rookie Kon Knueppel finished third with a score of 17 in the final round.
Booker had the highest score in first round, making nine of his first 10 shots and finishing with 30. Knueppel and Lillard each advanced with a score of 27. Donovan Mitchell also made nine of his first 10 shots, but was the last man eliminated, finishing with 24. Norman Powell was one of only three shooters to make a “From the Logo” shot, but finished with 23. Tyrese Maxey (17), Jamal Murray (17) and Bobby Portis (15) all fell well short of the scores needed to advance.
Lillard joins Larry Bird and Craig Hodges as the only players to win the 3-point Contest three times.

The 2026 State Farm 3-Point Contest at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California is the first event of NBA All-Star Saturday, which is airing LIVE on NBC and Peacock.
The eight-player field, revealed on NBC, is as follows:

- Donovan Mitchell, Cleveland Cavaliers

- Bobby Portis Jr., Milwaukee Bucks
- Norman Powell, Miami Heat
The State Farm 3-Point Contest features five 2026 NBA All-Stars: Booker, Maxey, Mitchell, Murray and Powell.
The field also includes two former State Farm 3-Point Contest winners, Booker (2018) and two-time champion Lillard (2023 and 2024). Lillard, a nine-time NBA All-Star, can match the record of three titles, shared by Larry Bird and Craig Hodges.
Four players will make their State Farm 3-Point Contest debuts: Knueppel, Maxey, Murray and Portis. Knueppel can become the first rookie to win the event.
In the two-round contest, players attempt to score as many points as possible from multiple 3-point locations within 70 seconds. The top three scorers from the first round advance to the championship round, where the highest score determines the winner.
