Pre-Draft Outlook
The Nuggets are in search of physical, athletic players on all spots on the court with a secondary ballhandler behind Jamal Murray, perimeter scorers and more depth at center behind Nikola Jokic. The Nuggets dealt with injuries, including Aaron Gordon’s limited availability, and team president and governor Josh Kroenke said running it back with the same core is a strong possibility.
The Way To Go
Henri Veesaar, a 7-footer who spent the season at North Carolina after transferring from Arizona, averaged 17 points and 8.7 rebounds and shot 60.8% from the field and 42.6% on 3-pointers. As a late first-round pick, he would add depth in the frontcourt. With the second-round pick, Big Ten guards Braden Smith (Purdue) and Bruce Thornton (Ohio State) would fill needs.
