Moves to G League

Johnson is expected to suit up for the Legends in their matchup Tuesday with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers before being recalled ahead of the Mavericks' next game Wednesday versus the Hawks. Since being acquired from the Wizards at the trade deadline, Johnson has been an inconsistent part of the Dallas rotation, appearing in 13 games while averaging 3.0 points, 1.2 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 9.9 minutes per contest.

Sticks in rotation

Poulakidas remained in the rotation, suiting up for just the third time this season. Currently on a two-way deal, there is a chance Poulakidas could find himself on the floor a little more as the season winds down. With that said, he is not someone managers need to concern themselves with at this point.

Sluggish performance Monday

Middleton scored no more than six points for the third straight game, prior to which he erupted for a season-high 35 points. While the talent is still there. Middleton simply can't sustain meaningful production at this point. Even with his 35-point effort, Middleton sits outside the top 150 in five games over the past week, averaging 13.2 points, 1.0 steals and 2.6 three-pointers.
