Scores 21 in SL win

McVeigh was excellent off the bench Monday, scoring over 20 points while missing just two shots from the field. He delivered the performance against his former team, the Rockets, who he spent most of the 2024-25 season with at the G League level for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. He also appeared in nine NBA regular-season games last season, averaging 1.6 points in 4.8 minutes per contest.

Drops 25 points in SL win

Bufkin's nine turnovers Monday were less than ideal, but his efficient 25-point outing helped offset those hiccups. It's been an up-and-down Summer League for the young guard, who poured in 29 points Friday against the Heat before struggling with a 3-for-17 shooting night and 10 points Sunday versus the Suns. Bufkin was limited to only 10 regular-season appearances in 2024-25 due to a lingering shoulder issue that required surgery, averaging 5.3 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists while shooting 38.3 percent from the floor.

Won't return Monday

Toppin headed to the locker room late in the second quarter with what was initially labeled a groin injury. He returned to start the second half but has since been ruled out for the rest of the game with left hip aggravation. The wing recorded 12 points (4-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT) in 15 minutes Monday. His next opportunity to play will be Thursday against the Grizzlies.
