Week 15 brings 56 total games – and potentially a few more if postponed games due to this weekend’s storms are scheduled – including homecomings and playoff rematches. We break it all down with one must-see matchup for each team.

Eastern Conference
Atlanta Hawks
- Schedule: Monday vs. Pacers, Wednesday at Celtics, Thursday vs. Rockets, Saturday at Pacers
- Game to Watch: Wednesday at Celtics: While Kristaps Porziņģis (Achilles tendinitis) may be unavailable against his former team, the Hawks will look to avenge their third-largest loss of the season (26 points) against the Celtics on Jan. 17 in Atlanta.
Boston Celtics
- Schedule: Monday vs. Trail Blazers (Peacock), Wednesday vs. Hawks, Friday vs. Kings, Sunday vs. Bucks (ESPN)
- Game to Watch: Monday vs. Trail Blazers (Peacock): The Celtics welcome Jrue Holiday back to Boston for the first time since last summer’s trade for Anfernee Simons. After the Blazers spoiled Simons’ return on Dec. 28, can the Celtics return the favor against Holiday?
Brooklyn Nets
- Schedule: Tuesday at Suns, Thursday at Nuggets, Friday at Jazz, Sunday at Pistons
- Game to Watch: Tuesday at Suns: The Nets have dropped their past three road games by 22, 54, and 37 points. Can they break that cycle when they open Week 15 in Phoenix against a Suns team without Devin Booker?
Charlotte Hornets
- Schedule: Monday vs. 76ers, Wednesday at Grizzlies, Thursday at Mavericks, Saturday vs. Spurs (Prime Video)
- Game to Watch: Thursday at Mavericks: Charlotte’s Kon Knueppel and Dallas’ Cooper Flagg are not only former college teammates and top-five draft picks, but they are also the frontrunners in the Kia Rookie of the Year chase. This marks their first meeting in the NBA.
Chicago Bulls
- Schedule: Monday vs. Lakers, Wednesday at Pacers, Thursday vs. Heat, Saturday at Heat, Sunday at Heat
- Game to Watch: Monday vs. Lakers: Coming off an emotional Saturday night that featured a Kevin Huerter game-winner just before Derrick Rose’s jersey retirement ceremony, can the Bulls ride those good vibes and start Week 15 with a win over Luka Dončić, LeBron James and the Lakers?
Cleveland Cavaliers
- Schedule: Monday vs. Magic (Peacock), Wednesday vs. Lakers (ESPN), Friday at Suns, Sunday at Trail Blazers
- Game to Watch: Wednesday vs. Lakers (ESPN): The number of LeBron James homecoming games to Cleveland is limited as the 41-year-old (in his 23rd season) visits his former home arena just once per season. In addition to the action on the court, how will James be received a decade removed from bringing a title to the city?
Detroit Pistons
- Schedule: Tuesday at Nuggets, Thursday at Suns, Friday at Warriors (ESPN), Sunday vs. Nets
- Game to Watch: Friday at Warriors (ESPN): Four of the last five games between the Pistons and Warriors have been decided by five points or less. Will history repeat itself and deliver another thriller?
Indiana Pacers
- Schedule: Monday at Hawks, Wednesday vs. Bulls, Saturday vs. Hawks
- Game to Watch: Monday at Hawks: After winning a Finals rematch against the Thunder in OKC, the Pacers will look to conclude their five-game road trip with another win, this time in Atlanta.
Miami Heat
- Schedule: Wednesday vs. Magic, Thursday at Bulls, Saturday vs. Bulls, Sunday vs. Bulls
- Game to Watch: Thursday at Bulls: AWS Rivals Week may be over, but this matchup would have been worthy of the spotlight, considering Miami has ended Chicago’s postseason each of the past three years in the SoFi NBA Play-In Tournament. This week, they play three times in the span of four days to close out their regular-season series.
Milwaukee Bucks
- Schedule: Tuesday at 76ers (NBC/Peacock), Thursday at Wizards (Prime Video), Sunday at Celtics (ESPN)
- Game to Watch: Tuesday at 76ers (NBC/Peacock): The Bucks have dropped five of their last six games and will be without Giannis Antetokounmpo for the next four to six weeks with a calf injury. Can the Bucks prove they can win without Antetokounmpo? Their first chance to improve on their 3-11 record without him this season comes Tuesday in Philly.
New York Knicks
- Schedule: Tuesday vs. Kings, Wednesday at Raptors, Friday vs. Trail Blazers, Sunday vs. Lakers (NBC/Peacock)
- Game to Watch: Wednesday at Raptors: The Knicks enter Week 15 a half-game behind the Raptors for third place in the East. A win on Wednesday would not only help the Knicks in that chase, but it would also clinch the season series, putting the Knicks up 3-0 with two games remaining.
Orlando Magic
- Schedule: Monday at Cavaliers (Peacock), Wednesday at Heat, Friday vs. Raptors (ESPN), Sunday at Spurs
- Game to Watch: Monday at Cavaliers (Peacock): This is a matchup of teams on contrasting streaks. The Cavs seek a fourth straight win, while the Magic look to avoid a four-game skid. At 23-21, the Magic have dropped into the Play-In portion of the standings, looking up at the Cavs in fifth place, 2.5 games ahead of Orlando.
Philadelphia 76ers
- Schedule: Monday at Hornets, Tuesday vs. Bucks (NBC/Peacock), Thursday vs. Kings, Saturday vs. Pelicans
- Game to Watch: Monday at Hornets: The Sixers have traded wins and losses their past five games, with each contest decided by single digits. With four sub-.500 teams on the schedule this week, can the Sixers string together some wins and build momentum? It all begins Monday in Charlotte.
Toronto Raptors
- Schedule: Wednesday vs. Knicks, Friday at Magic (ESPN), Sunday vs. Jazz
- Game to Watch: Wednesday vs. Knicks: On Sunday, the Raptors came up big in clutch time to knock off the West-leading Thunder. Can they follow that up with a win over the fourth-place Knicks in the East? In addition to increasing their lead for third place in the conference, the Raptors would pull within 2-1 in the five-game season series.
Washington Wizards
- Schedule: Tuesday vs. Trail Blazers, Thursday vs. Bucks (Prime Video), Friday vs. Lakers, Sunday vs. Kings
- Game to Watch: Thursday vs. Bucks (Prime Video): One of only four nationally broadcast games for the Wizards, the Prime Video spotlight will shine on Washington’s last top-six draft picks – Alex Sarr (No. 2 pick in 2024) and Tre Johnson (No. 6 pick in 2025).
Western Conference

The Nuggets and Thunder will renew their longstanding rivalry with a matchup in Denver this week.
Dallas Mavericks
- Schedule: Wednesday vs. Timberwolves, Thursday vs. Hornets, Saturday at Rockets (ABC)
- Game to Watch: Saturday at Rockets (ABC): Cooper Flagg and the Mavs enter the ABC Saturday spotlight with their fourth and final matchup with the Rockets. Dallas has won the last two meetings and, with a win on Saturday, would clinch the season series. Dallas enters Week 15 having won four of its last five games. Can it ride that momentum this week as they push for a Play-In spot?
Denver Nuggets
- Schedule: Tuesday vs. Pistons, Thursday vs. Nets, Friday vs. Clippers, Sunday vs. Thunder (NBC/Peacock)
- Game to Watch: Friday vs. Clippers: The Nuggets have gone 9-5 since Nikola Jokić has been sidelined with a knee injury, but face a tough schedule this week –bookended by matchups with the top team in each conference (Detroit and OKC). In the middle is a 2025 first round playoff rematch with one of the league’s hottest teams at the moment – the Clippers, who are 15-3 in their last 18 games.
Golden State Warriors
- Schedule: Monday at Timberwolves (Peacock), Wednesday at Jazz, Friday vs. Pistons (ESPN)
- Game to Watch: Monday at Timberwolves (Peacock): After beating Minnesota convincingly on Sunday, the Warriors and Wolves will run it back from Minnesota to open Week 15. Steph Curry, who cracked the top 20 all-time scoring list on Sunday, needs one point to pass Paul Pierce for 19th place and 100 points to pass Tim Duncan for 18th place.
Houston Rockets
- Schedule: Monday vs. Grizzlies, Wednesday vs. Spurs (ESPN), Thursday at Hawks, Saturday vs. Mavericks (ABC)
- Game to Watch: Wednesday vs. Spurs (ESPN): What separates Houston and San Antonio? Two-hundred miles by car, 2 1/2 games in the West standings and six points in their first two games this season (which they split). This rubber match is a can’t-miss game this week.
LA Clippers
- Schedule: Tuesday at Jazz (NBC/Peacock), Friday at Nuggets, Sunday at Suns
- Game to Watch: Tuesday at Jazz (NBC/Peacock): The Clippers are an NBA-best 10-3 in January and have won 15 of their last 18 games overall. They will look to stay hot and continue to climb the West standings when they visit the Jazz on Tuesday night.
Los Angeles Lakers
- Schedule: Monday at Bulls, Wednesday at Cavaliers (ESPN), Friday at Wizards, Sunday at Knicks (NBC/Peacock)
- Game to Watch: Sunday at Knicks (NBC/Peacock): Two of the game’s biggest stars – Luka Dončić and LeBron James – make their lone stop of the season at the World’s Most Famous Arena. James is 23-8 at MSG in his career, with averages of 28.2 points, seven rebounds, and 7.6 assists. Dončić is 4-2, while putting up similar numbers (27.5 ppg, 8.8 rpg and 7.7 apg).
Memphis Grizzlies
- Schedule: Monday at Rockets, Wednesday vs. Hornets, Friday at Pelicans, Saturday vs. Timberwolves
- Game to Watch: Friday at Pelicans: Over their past 12 meetings, the Grizzlies and Pelicans have more games decided in overtime (three) than by double digits (one). Will their final matchup of the season deliver another thriller? The first three games this season were all decided by two possessions or less.
Minnesota Timberwolves
- Schedule: Monday vs. Warriors (Peacock), Wednesday at Mavericks, Thursday vs. Thunder (Prime Video), Saturday at Grizzlies
- Game to Watch: Thursday vs. Thunder (Prime Video): This rematch of the 2025 Western Conference Finals enters its third chapter of the season after the first two meetings between the Thunder and Wolves both came down to clutch time. With the season series split 1-1, who will win the rubber match?
New Orleans Pelicans
- Schedule: Tuesday at Thunder, Friday vs. Grizzlies, Saturday at 76ers
- Game to Watch: Tuesday at Thunder: The Pelicans seek their first win over the Thunder in almost exactly two years (Jan. 26, 2024) as OKC has won the last eight head-to-head matchups. However, New Orleans enters this game looking for its second three-game win streak of the season, while OKC tries to avoid its first three-game skid of the season.
Oklahoma City Thunder
- Schedule: Tuesday vs. Pelicans, Thursday at Timberwolves (Prime Video), Sunday at Nuggets (NBC/Peacock)
- Game to Watch: Sunday at Nuggets (NBC/Peacock): The first meeting of the season between No. 1 OKC and No. 3 Denver wraps up Week 15 for both teams. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander could be aiming for his 120th straight game with 20+ points, which would move him within seven of breaking Wilt Chamberlain’s record.
Phoenix Suns
- Schedule: Tuesday vs. Nets, Thursday vs. Pistons, Friday vs. Cavaliers, Sunday vs. Clippers
- Game to Watch: Tuesday vs. Nets: With Devin Booker sidelined for at least a week, the Suns need to find a way to win without him (1-4 so far this season when Booker is sidelined). Their first shot comes Tuesday against Brooklyn, which is the only sub-.500 team on Phoenix’s schedule this week.
Portland Trail Blazers
- Schedule: Monday at Celtics (Peacock), Tuesday at Wizards, Friday at Knicks, Sunday vs. Cavaliers
- Game to Watch: Monday at Celtics (Peacock): Jrue Holiday makes his first return to Boston since last summer’s trade that sent him to Portland for Anfernee Simons. Keep an eye on both the game and the reception that the 2024 champion receives from the Garden crowd.
Sacramento Kings
- Schedule: Tuesday at Knicks, Thursday at 76ers, Friday at Celtics, Sunday at Wizards
- Game to Watch: Tuesday at Knicks: The Kings enter Week 15 on a five-game losing streak. However, the last two teams they beat – the Wizards and Knicks – bookend this week’s schedule. Can the Kings go into MSG and get a second straight win over former coach Mike Brown?
San Antonio Spurs
- Schedule: Wednesday at Rockets (ESPN), Saturday at Hornets (Prime Video), Sunday vs. Magic
- Game to Watch: Wednesday at Rockets (ESPN): Keep an eye on the center matchup between San Antonio’s Victor Wembanyama and Houston’s Alperen Sengun – two players who may end up as All-Star teammates, representing Team World.
Utah Jazz
- Schedule: Tuesday vs. Clippers (NBC/Peacock), Wednesday vs. Warriors, Friday vs. Nets, Sunday at Raptors
- Game to Watch: Tuesday vs. Clippers (NBC/Peacock): The first of three nationally broadcast games for the Jazz this season, giving all hoop fans a chance to see the emerging Keyonte George and top-10 scorer Lauri Markkanen.
