
Philadelphia will be without starting point guard Tyrese Maxey for the next two games.
Philadelphia 76ers All-Star Tyrese Maxey suffered a sprain of his right fifth finger, the team announced Sunday. He will miss the next two games and will go through further testing on next steps to return.
Maxey suffered the injury during Saturday’s 125-116 loss to the Hawks, exiting in the final minute after racking up 31 points on 12-for-22 shooting along with five assists and four steals.

Maxey, who made his second All-Star appearance this season – his 1st as a starter for the East, is averaging 29.0 ppg and 6.7 apg. The Sixers entered Sunday seeded 8th in the East at 34-29, trailing the Magic and Heat – separated by percentage points for the 6th and 7th slots – by 0.5 games.
