NBA fines Anthony Edwards $100,000 for profane language during TV interview

Edwards made the comments during an on-court interview after the Timberwolves’ victory over the Rockets on Dec. 27.

NEW YORK – Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards has been fined $100,000 for using profane language during a live television interview, it was announced today by Joe Dumars, Executive Vice President, Head of Basketball Operations. The fine amount is based in part on Edwards’ history of using profane language during media interviews.

Edwards made his comments during an on-court interview at the conclusion of the Timberwolves’ 113-112 victory over the Houston Rockets on Dec. 27 at Toyota Center.
