STAMFORD, Conn. – Two-time reigning NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the 4-1 Oklahoma City Thunder visit seven-time NBA All-Star Donovan Mitchell and the 3-1 Cleveland Cavaliers on Peacock NBA Monday on Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. ET on Peacock and NBCSN. Live coverage begins with NBA Showtime at 6:30 p.m. ET on Peacock and NBCSN, featuring the NBC Sports NBA debut of Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame coaching inductee Doc Rivers, who will work alongside Brian Scalabrine, who he coached on the 2008 Boston Celtics championship team, on his first assignment. Ahmed Fareed will host. Additionally, Rivers’ son, Austin, will serve as the Cavaliers’ analyst for NBC Sports’ “On the Bench” coverage of the game.
Thunder-Cavaliers will be an “On the Bench” game, NBC Sports’ production innovation that dedicates one analyst to each team and positions that analyst courtside with their team, allowing for the analysts to deliver information through the lens of their team straight from the bench.
