Nikola Vučević is headed back to the Magic after spending last season with the Bulls and Celtics.
Veteran center Nikola Vucevic signed a one-year, $3.9 million minimum contract with the Orlando Magic in NBA free agency, the team confirmed on Wednesday.

In 64 games last season between Chicago and Boston, Vučević averaged 15.1 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game.
Vučević returns to the team where he’s spent the bulk of his 15-year NBA career. He earned two All-Star nods during his stint with the Magic from 2012 to 2021 after being traded to Orlando following his rookie season with the Philadelphia 76ers.
During his tenure with the Magic earlier in his career, Vučević averaged 17.6 points, 10.8 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game while shooting 35.3% from 3-point range. On a one-year contract with the Magic, Vučević will provide key frontcourt depth to a team that expects to be a threat in the Eastern Conference playoff picture.
Vučević, 35, was traded to the Chicago Bulls in 2021. He then spent six seasons in Chicago before being traded again in February, just before the trade deadline, to the Boston Celtics.
