1. All-Star reserves have been announced. Pascal Siakam, Jaylen Brown, Cade Cunningham, Evan Mobley, Darius Garland, Tyler Herro and Damian Lillard will represent the Eastern Conference. Anthony Davis, James Harden, Victor Wembanyama, Alperen Sengun, Anthony Edwards, Jalen Williams and Jaren Jackson Jr. will represent the Western Conference.
2. Blowouts across the league. Cleveland, Los Angeles, Minnesota and Portland all won by at least 22 points apiece despite only having five games on the slate. They beat Atlanta, Washington, Utah and Orlando by those lopsided margins.
3. Memphis completes a comeback against Houston. The Grizzlies closed the game on a 13-4 run over the final six minutes to beat the Rockets, 120-119. These teams now sit second and third in the Western Conference, with Houston sitting just 0.5 games ahead of Memphis.

1. Memphis and Houston battle atop the West. The Rockets come into this matchup winning 10 of their last 12 games, sitting second in the Western Conference. The Grizzlies are only 1.5 games behind Houston, ranked third in the West. With that said, Houston has won all three games over Memphis this year and six of their last seven matchups in total.

That’s scary since the Trail Blazers are playing their best ball of the season, entering this matchup winning five of their last six outings.
