Go behind the scenes with NBA stars in the latest season of 'Pass the Rock.'
NEW YORK — The NBA announced the star-studded lineup for season 3 of the NBA Original “Pass the Rock” on the NBA App. This season’s stacked cast includes Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Dončić, Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Celtics forward Jayson Tatum, Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell, Cleveland Cavaliers guard Darius Garland and Oklahoma City Thunder forward Jalen Williams.
“Pass the Rock” will take fans behind the scenes into the lives of some of the game’s brightest stars and offer exclusive commentary from each player on their love for basketball, capturing everything from their on-court goals and how they prepare for games to their personal passions.
The first episode will premiere on March 31, featuring Cavaliers guard Darius Garland, who is fresh off his second All-Star appearance. Garland talks about his unique upbringing, the Cavs’ historic start to this season, and overcoming adversity throughout his career.
“We always have this little thing like…don’t let anyone take your mic, you’re the lead out there, you’re the point guard, you’re the head of the snake so the ball is your mic, and don’t let anyone take it from you”, Garland said.
Season two of “Pass the Rock” featured Orlando Magic forward Paolo Banchero, New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson, Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards, Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton, Oklahoma City Thunder forward Chet Holmgren, Memphis Grizzlies forward Jaren Jackson Jr., Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey and San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama.
