The Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo recorded a career-high 20 assists in a win over the 76ers for his eighth triple-double this season and a staggering 89.4 fantasy points.
The final week of the regular season looms, but there’s been no shortage of show-stopping performances for fantasy general managers to drool over.
Still, time is running out for NBA Fantasy Salary Game players who want to gain an extra edge on the competition for the final stretch.
Here are all the need-to-knows midway through Week 24:
Story so far
The Western Conference is as wild as it’s been all season. Seeds No. 3 through No. 8 are separated by just 2.5 games, and with five or so contests remaining for most squads, things will continue to break fast.
The fifth-place Golden State Warriors (45-31) have just a 1.0-game lead on the eighth-place Los Angeles Clippers (44-32), while the Memphis Grizzlies (45-32) and Minnesota Timberwolves (45-32) are sandwiched between them.
In winning 13 of their last 15 outings, the Houston Rockets (50-27) have built separation from the Denver Nuggets (47-30) and are close to securing the No. 2 seed. Meanwhile, the Oklahoma City Thunder (64-12) have remained untouchable – now victors of 11 in a row and primed for the postseason.
Top performances
Stephen Curry did something he had never done in 2024-25. The 16th-year guard reached 90.0 fantasy points for the first time with 92.0 on Tuesday in a 134-125 victory for the Warriors over the Grizzlies. His 52 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists represented far and away his best outing this season – not even having cracked 70.0 entering the night. He’s up to 2614.2 total fantasy points (TFP) and ranks 26th in the league in that regard.
The seemingly impossible became possible Tuesday as Nikola Jokić once again excelled at the intersection of absurd and ridiculous. The three-time Kia MVP racked up 90.0 fantasy points by posting the third 60-point triple-double in NBA History – 61 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists for the Nuggets in a double-overtime, 140-139 loss to the Timberwolves. Though he’s now missed six of the last nine games, Jokić has topped 70.0 fantasy points in four of his last nine outings and only dropped less than 50.0 once in that span.
Rounding out the early-week podium was Giannis Antetokounmpo with a staggering 89.4 on Thursday, accumulated on 35 points, 17 rebounds and 20 assists in the Milwaukee Bucks’ (42-34) victory by a 126-113 against the Philadelphia 76ers (23-54). Those 20 assists were a season-best mark, and it was the third game with 15 or more rebounds in his last 12. His high production rarely relents, and he’s now scored 60-plus on 22 different occasions en route to a third-place 3591.1 fantasy points.
