Evan Fournier is among the players born on Oct. 29.

With over 5,000 players in NBA history, at least one player was born on every day of the calendar year – including three leap day ballers. Our day-by-day breakdown of the players born on each day of the year continues.

Below are the most notable NBA players born on Oct 29.

Evan Fournier (1992): There’s been a French revolution in the NBA over recent years, and Fournier was one of the first. He was selected 20th overall in the 2012 NBA Draft by the Denver Nuggets and spent his first two seasons in Denver before a trade sent him to Orlando. That’s where he really hit his stride, averaging 16.2 points, 2.9 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.0 steals throughout seven years with the Magic. Fournier spent time with the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics after that and just played for the Detroit Pistons last season. That might be the final time we see the Frenchman in the NBA after he signed a two-year deal in Greece during the summer.

Dick Garmaker (1932): After being a standout at Minnesota University, Garmaker was the sixth overall pick in the 1955 NBA Draft by the Minneapolis Lakers. The guard struggled in his rookie campaign but broke out during his sophomore season. Garmaker made his first of four-straight All-Star appearances in his second season, averaging 14.6 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game in that span. He was traded to the New York Knicks in 1960 and closed out his career by playing his final two seasons there. He retired in 1961, despite being just 29-years-old.
