Spencer Dinwiddie (1993)

“The Mayor” is one of the best players to come out of Colorado University, being drafted 38th overall in the 2014 NBA Draft by the Detroit Pistons. He spent his first two years as a reserve player in Detroit before joining the Brooklyn Nets in 2016. That was where things took off for Dinwiddie, as he finished fourth in Sixth Man of the Year voting in 2019. He followed that up with a career year, averaging a career-high 20.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 6.8 assists in 2019-20.

Dinwiddie’s final season with the Nets was in 2021, and he went on to play for the Washington Wizards, Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Lakers. He’s had two stints with the Nets and Mavericks, with Dinwiddie currently playing for the Mavs. Throughout his 11-year career, he holds averages of 13.0 ppg, 3.0 rpg and 5.1 apg across 621 games.
