LAS VEGAS — The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Orlando Magic 92-75 in the NBA 2K26 Summer League at Thomas & Mack Center on Tuesday.
While there were five ties and seven lead changes in this game, Oklahoma City led for all but a handful of minutes. They maintained the lead for the entirety of the second half, getting their lead up to 19 points at times. OKC also won all four individual quarters in this game. The Thunder shot 44% from the field and 27% from 3-point range while holding the Magic to 32% from the field and 25% from long range. Oklahoma City dominated down low, outscoring Orlando 48-22 in the paint. They also forced 24 turnovers from Orlando.
The Thunder (3-0) were led by Ajay Mitchell, who had 27 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two steals on 9-for-13 shooting. Branden Carlson collected 23 points, seven rebounds and two blocks on 9-for-13 shooting. Nikola Topic tallied eight points, five rebounds, six assists and two steals.
The Magic (0-3) were led by Wendell Moore Jr, who provided 14 points, 10 rebounds and two steals. Ethan Thompson totaled 16 points and four boards. Nate Santos led the bench with 11 points, four rebounds and two steals.
Both teams return to action on Wednesday, with Orlando playing the Brooklyn Nets and Oklahoma City facing the New Orleans Pelicans.
