LAS VEGAS — Devin Carter poured in 30 points to lead the Sacramento Kings to a 109-92 victory over the Chicago Bulls in the NBA 2K26 Summer League on Saturday at Cox Pavilion.
The Kings got right down to business and rallied to a 32-14 lead after one quarter. However, the Bulls did not give up easily and fought back with a 38-24 second quarter, cutting it to a four-point game at the break.
The second half got off to a slow start, with no baskets scored for the first two minutes. However, the action picked up, as the Kings reclaimed momentum and added eight points to their lead, making it a 12-point game heading into the final quarter. The Bulls had no answers in the fourth, as Nique Clifford helped the Kings drive it home with 10 points in the period.
Clifford finished with 19 points, a game-high 12 rebounds, five assists and a steal in 28 minutes of action. Meanwhile, Carter shot 10-for-13 from the field, including 5-for-7 from deep, on his way to 30 points. He also added eight rebounds, three assists and three steals to round out an impressive night. Additionally, Maxime Raynaud came up large for the Kings with 17 points, five rebounds, two assists and a steal. In total, the Kings had six players score in double digits, while they shot 56.2% from the field as a team.
On the other side, Javon Freeman-Liberty led the Bulls with 21 points, three rebounds, two assists and a steal. Noa Essengue added 12 points, 10 rebounds, one assist, one steal and a block, while Maozinha Pereira tallied 15 points, five rebounds and two assists.
