LAS VEGAS — The Sacramento Kings defeated the Phoenix Suns, 87-77, in the NBA 2K25 Summer League at Thomas & Mack Center on Saturday.
There were nine ties and nine lead changes in this game, with neither team leading by more than 10 points. Ironically, that was the final margin of the game, with Sacramento riding a 26-18 fourth quarter to their victory.
The Kings shot 52.2 percent from the field and 38.9 percent from three-point range while holding the Suns to 41.2 percent from the field and 27.8 percent from long range. They also outscored Phoenix in fastbreak scoring, 18-2, and in points off of turnovers, 25-12.
The Suns (2-3) were led by Jalen Bridges, finishing with 16 points and two rebounds. Isaiah Wong had 15 points to lead the bench. David Roddy amassed 11 points, two rebounds and two assists, while Oso Ighodaro had four points, five rebounds and nine assists.
The Kings (2-3) were led by Boogie Ellis, providing 17 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals off the bench. Isaac Jones led the starters with 16 points, five rebounds, four assists and two blocks. Isaiah Crawford collected 14 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals, while Drew Timme totaled 14 points, seven rebounds and two assists.
