LAS VEGAS — DJ Steward poured in 37 points to lead the Chicago Bulls to a 103-99 overtime victory against the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA 2K25 Summer League in Las Vegas on Friday at Thomas and Mack Center.

The Bulls jumped out to a 15-point lead to start the first quarter, but the Hawks rallied back to make it a seven-point game heading into the second. The Bulls regained momentum and outscored the Hawks 34-25 to build a 16-point cushion by halftime. The Hawks brought a better effort in the third quarter and chipped away to make it an eight-point game heading into the final quarter. They continued to push in the fourth and clawed to a two-point lead with four seconds left, but Steward solidified himself as the hero by banking in a floater to seal an Elam ending for the Bulls.

Steward shot 11-for-19 from the field and added three rebounds and seven assists to his game-high scoring effort for the Bulls. Julian Phillips followed up with 21 points, two rebounds, three steals and a block, while Adama Sonogo logged 17 points, nine rebounds, two steals and two blocks. Matas Buzelis contributed 11 points, two rebounds, five steals and a block in 29 minutes off the bench.

Keaton Wallace led the Hawks with 22 points, three rebounds, seven assists and two steals, in 29 minutes. Jordan Bowden followed up with 18 points, three rebounds, three assists and two steals, while Dylan Windler added 17 points, seven rebounds and two assists.
