NBA 2K23 Summer League: Perry, Clippers roll past Grizzlies

The Clippers jumped out to a great start and led 28-15 after one quarter.

Reggie Perry scored a team-high 17 points to lead the Los Angeles Clippers to a 94-76 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies in NBA 2K23 Las Vegas Summer League action Saturday night at Cox Pavilion.

The Clippers jumped out to a great start and led 28-15 after one quarter. They kept up the pressure in the second and added another seven points to their advantage, making it a 20-point game at the break. The Grizzlies came out stronger in the third could not cut into the deficit and trailed by 22 heading into the final frame. The Clippers cruised the rest of the way to close out the impressive win.

In addition to Perry, the Clippers had four other players score in double digits, including Brandon Boston Jr., who finished with 15 points, three rebounds, two assists, three steals and a block. Jarrell Brantley added 13 points, while Jay Scrubb chipped in another 11.

On the other side, Kenneth Lofton Jr. scored a game-high 18 points to lead the Grizzlies. Ziaire Williams and David Roddy were the only others to score in double digits, notching 10 points each.

The Grizzlies will be right back in action Sunday versus the Timberwolves. The Clippers have a bit of a break before they face the Lakers on Tuesday.
