Sam Cassell – 2000, 9.0 APG

Cassell played for the Rockets, Suns, Mavericks and Nets before his tenure with the Bucks. His first full season with the team was 1999-00 when he averaged 36 minutes over 81 games. He averaged what would be his career high of 9.0 assists per game that season. He also chipped in 18.3 points and 3.7 rebounds per game.

Oscar Roberston – 1971, 8.2 APG

Roberston spent the first 10 seasons of his career with the Cincinnati Royals. He won the Rookie of the Year award, an MVP award and made 10 All-Star teams as a member of the franchise. He also led the league in assists per game seven times. That included four seasons in which he averaged at least 11.0 assists. Robertson’s first season with the Bucks came in 1970-71 and he averaged 19.4 points, 8.2 assists and 5.7 rebounds while finishing fifth in MVP voting. Robertson also won a championship with the Bucks that season. Across 288 career regular season games with the Bucks, Robertson averaged 16.3 points and 7.5 assists.

Paul Pressey – 1986, 7.8 APG

The Bucks selected Pressey in the first round of the 1982 Draft. He would go on to spend the first eight seasons of his career with the franchise. His average of 7.8 assists per game in 1985-86 would end up being the highest mark of his career. He also averaged 14.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.1 steals that season on his way to being named All-Defensive First Team and finishing 13th in MVP voting. Across 580 regular season games with the Bucks, Pressey averaged 11.9 points, 5.6 assists and 1.5 steals.

Eric Murdock – 1993, 7.6 APG

After one season with the Jazz, Murdock was traded to the Bucks. The 1992-93 season was his first campaign with the Bucks and he immediately made an impact with averages of 14.4 points, 7.6 assists and 2.2 steals per game. After his time with the Bucks, Murdock went on to play for five other franchises. Over 245 games with the Bucks, he averaged 14.0 points, 6.8 assists and 2.0 steals.

Sam Cassell – 2001, 7.6 APG

Following his career high average of 9.8 assists per game in 1999-00, Cassell averaged 7.6 assists the following season. He appeared in 76 games, also averaging 18.2 points and 3.8 rebounds. After his tenure with the Bucks, Cassell played for the Timberwolves, Clippers and Celtics. Across 313 regular season games with the Bucks, Cassell averaged 19.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 7.2 assists.
