Davis suffered the injury during the 8:50 mark in the second quarter of the Mavs’ 126-116 loss to the Warriors on Christmas Day.
He did not return to the game because of groin spasms after being examined by the medical staff and finished with three points, three rebounds and two blocks in 11 minutes of action.
Davis has already missed 16 games with a left calf injury and management of it.
Davis has averages of 20.5 ppg, 10.9 rpg while shooting 52.1% from the field this season. He’ll be evaluated daily with the Mavericks.
