  • Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (35 pts, 9 reb, 15 ast) tied Wilt Chamberlain for the longest streak of 20+ point games in NBA history tonight with 126, adding two clutch 3-pointers for good measure.
  • The Clippers defeated the Knicks 126-118 in the nightcap behind Kawhi Leonard (29 pts, 7 reb, 8 ast), Bennedict Mathurin (28 pts, 7 reb) and Darius Garland (23 pts, 7 ast, 2 stl), returning to .500 for the first time since early November.

“Our defense got us going tonight, after that, just making threes,” said Kawhi Leonard (29 pts). “I love that we are competing. No matter where we are in the standings, just going out and competing every night.”

Bennedict Mathurin added 28 points for the Clippers, while Karl-Anthony Towns put up 35 to lead the Knicks, backed by 28 points and 8 assists from recent assist leader Jalen Brunson.

LA forced 19 New York turnovers while coughing the ball up just eight times in the win, helped in part by the point guard play of Darius Garland (23 pts, 7 ast, 2 stl).

Jazz defeat Warriors

Kyle Filipowski (19 pts, 15 reb, 5 ast, 2 stl, 1 blk) showed out, starring as the Jazz posted double-figure scorers to beat the Warriors 119-116.

Golden State had a chance to tie it at the buzzer, but John Konchar closed down Gui Santos (15 pts, 8 reb, 5 ast) and forced a double-clutch attempt.

De’Anthony Melton (22 pts) led the offense for the Warriors, countered by Brice Sensabaugh (21 pts) for Utah. Blake Hinson (12 pts) made a career-high four 3-pointers for the Jazz.
