Kawhi Leonard and the Clippers defeated the Jazz to earn their 16th win in 19 games in the second half of our NBC and Peacock doubleheader.

Kawhi Leonard (21 pts) topped six Clippers in double figures, while Ace Bailey had 20 to lead the Jazz.

“We’re just taking it one game at a time. We’re not thinking about our record,” said Leonard. “Just coming in and being locked into our game plan, and it’s showing.”

Jamal Murray was fouled on back-to-back 3-point attempts in the final seconds, but missed a free throw both times, as Detroit managed to hold on in the Mile High City.

Cade Cunningham (22 pts, 11 ast) was the floor general for the Pistons, while Tobias Harris (22 pts) provided steady scoring, including a pair of clutch free throws of his own down the stretch.

Murray (24 pts, 10 ast) led six Nuggets in double figures.

103-87 over Sacramento, winning the final period 31-15 along the way. Jalen Brunson (28 pts, 4 3PM) led the way for the Knicks, with Karl-Anthony Towns (17 pts, 11 reb) and Mitchell Robinson (7 pts, 13 reb) controlling the glass.

DeMar DeRozan (34 pts) was the main man for the Kings offensively.

Alex Sarr (29 pts, 12 reb, 6 blk, 3 3PM) was a star for the Wizards, receiving help from Kyshawn George (19 pts, 9 reb, 5 ast, 3 blk, 2 stl), Khris Middleton (19 pts, 6 reb, 5 ast) and Tre Johnson (18 pts, 3 3PM).

Washington shot 17-of-39 (43.6%) from 3-point range in the win.

Shaedon Sharpe (31 pts) blazed for the Blazers, while Deni Avdija (17 pts, 12 reb) posted a double-double in his return to Washington. Donovan Clingan (14 pts, 20 reb) had one as well.
