  • Orlando needed overtime to take down the Wizards, but 28 points from Jalen Suggs and a dagger triple in OT helped seal the Magic’s sixth consecutive win.
  • Jalen Johnson (21 pts, 9 reb, 9 ast) finishes one rebound and one assist shy of a triple-double in Atlanta’s eighth win in a row. It’s the longest winning streak for the Hawks since 2021.
  • Bam Adebayo finished with 21 points and 8 rebounds in his 83-point encore from Tuesday, and the Miami Heat won their seventh consecutive contest.
  • Khris Middleton scored 22 of his season-high 35 points in the fourth quarter to help Dallas snap an 8-game losing streak with a 120-112 win over Memphis.

  • The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Boston Celtics in a thrilling matchup between the last two NBA champions. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (35 pts) surpassed Wilt Chamberlain’s 126-game record of 20+ points in the victory, as he stands alone now with 127 consecutive games.

Lakers win 4th straight behind Luka

Luka Dončić nets a Lakers career-high 51 points (17-31 FG, 9-14 3PM, 8-9 FT) with 10 rebounds, 9 assists, 3 steals and one block to lead LA to a 142-130 win over Chicago. Austin Reaves (30 pts, 7 ast), LeBron James (18 pts, 7 reb, 7 ast) and Deandre Ayton (23 pts, 10 reb) all did their thing as well.

Los Angeles (41-25) moves a half-game ahead of Houston for the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference, with just one game separating them from the sixth-seeded Timberwolves. The Lakers have won four straight and 7 of their last 8 games.

Josh Giddey (27 pts, 8 reb, 15 ast, 2 stl) and Matas Buzelis (22 pts, 6 reb, 2 stl, 2 blk) lead the way for the Bulls in the loss.

Jokić, Murray lead 20-point comeback

Nikola Jokić and Jamal Murray combine for 70 points and 19 of Denver’s 27 assists to spearhead their 20-point road comeback victory over San Antonio, 136-131. Jokić records his third straight triple-double and NBA-leading 26th on the season, while Murray scores 30 of his 39 points in the second half.

Stephon Castle leads six Spurs in double figures scoring with a triple-double of his own, collecting 30 points (7-15 FG, 4-8 3PM, 12-13 FT), 11 rebounds and 10 assists with only 2 turnovers in 35 minutes.

San Antonio was without Victor Wembanyama due to an ankle injury, and the loss snaps their winning streak at five games. The defeat marks the Spurs’ first home loss since Jan. 25 versus New Orleans.
