Desmond Bane scores a team-high 30 points in Orlando’s 119-92 victory over Minnesota Saturday afternoon.

Shai dagger leads to OKC’s 50th win 5๏ธโƒฃ0๏ธโƒฃ

With less than a minute to play, the Warriors had cut the Thunder lead to two points. SGA calmly drilled a stepback three-pointer over Draymond Green to effectively shut the door on any comeback hopes. The shot came after a rather low-scoring fourth quarter.

Oklahoma City improves to 50-15 and improve their edge over San Antonio to three games. Isaiah Joe contributed 18 after getting the starting nod while the OKC bench added 33 points. Even without having Chet Holmgren, Isaiah Hartenstein, or Jalen Williams in the lineup, his team can get it done despite injuries on a nightly basis.

Warriors within 2 ๐Ÿšจ

The reigning champs have been in control most of the night, however their lead is in jeopardy in the final moments of the game. OKC leads 99-97 with 1:36 to play.

New Clippers big 3?

Darius Garland looked right at home in his first start as a member of the Clippers. It was the best scoring display through three appearances, as he finished with 21 points. Bennedict Mathurin added 21 of his own while Kawhi Leonard led all scorers with 28.

The Clippers are in play-in territory in the Western Conference. If Mathurin, Garland and the Klaw can combine for 70 points with some frequency, that’d bode very well for there postseason chances.

Bucks handle Jazz at home ๐Ÿ 

Utah had no answer for Giannis as they fell to Utah 113-99. The Greek Freak had 27 points on 14 shots to go with nine boards and eight assists. Whether scoring or creating, Giannis was a machine tonight.

Anybody’s game in Memphis

These two Western Conference foes are dueling. Memphis leads by one point entering the final quarter thanks in part to this major putback slam by G.G. Jackson.

The Thunder are in control as the second half begins. It’s been a three-point affair so far as the teams have made 17 combined, but the Thunder depth has been the difference.

Oklahoma City is getting it done by committee so far against the Warriors. Isaiah Joe and Kenrich Williams have combined for 23 points with four minutes remaining in the first half.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is working on a triple-double as Utah has work to do in the second half to try and get the road win. Milwaukee leads 51-44 as play gets back under way.

Clips climb out of early hole

Kawhi Leonard has 20 points, including 15 in the second quarter as his team is within one at the break. Los Angeles erased a 19-point deficit and will hope to carry that momentum in the the next frame.

Shai didn’t wait long to get deep into his bag against the Warriors tonight. His team enters the game with the NBA’s best record at 49-15 on the season. Each game counts down the stretch as the San Antonio Spurs are only 2.5 games behind them in the West.

Memphis came out feeling it against the Clippers and took a big lead into the first quarter break.

Nets erase 23-point lead, upset Pistons ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Brooklyn entered the fourth quarter down by 11, but never gave up despite being on the road against the top team in the Eastern Conference. The Nets closed the game on an 18-6 scoring run to complete the improbable win, snapping a 10-game losing streak in the process.

JJ’s highlight dunks fuel Hawks 6th straight win ๐Ÿ’ฅ

Jalen Johnson was exceptional from the very beginning tonight. He opened the game with an one-handed putback dunk that set the tone for his performance ahead. He finished the night with 35 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists as his team outscored Philadelphia by 16 in the second half to win the game.

All Bucks early

Milwaukee enters the night on a four-game losing streak, but you couldn’t tell by the opening stretch of play. Giannis Antetokounmpo’s squad is up 23-8 early against the Jazz in Utah.

MPJ powering comeback effort

The Brooklyn Nets have trimmed Detroit’s lead to single-digits with four minutes to play. Michael Porter has 28 points and 13 rebounds to lead all scorers as his team trails 103-97 with 3:13 to play. Tune into NBA League Pass to see the conclusion.

Garland’s first start with Clippers

Darius Garland had two solid showings for LA off the bench after having been sidelined since mid-January. He averaged 12 points and five assists in those games, and will look to improve those numbers tonight against Memphis.

There’s been six lead changes thus far as Atlanta reclaimed the lead in the third quarter. Tyrese Maxey went into the locker room during the third quarter but has returned to the Philadelphia bench. He and Quentin Grimes have 23 points each while Jalen Johnson leads Atlanta with 24.

Michael Porter Jr. is up to 21 points as his team attempts to shrink their double-digit deficit.

Hawks-Sixers trading buckets

The second half began with Atlanta continuing its momentum to close the second quarter and taking the lead. Six quick points set the tone coming out of the break.

Quentin Grimes also came out of the break in stride, who’s now up to 17 points for Philadelphia.

Detroit in control at half

No Cade Cunningham, no problem so far for Detroit. They lead Brooklyn at the half on the backs of a balanced team-effort. Five different Pistons have seven or more points including Daniss Jenkins who had this fastbreak highlight in the second quarter.

JJ keeps dunking, Hawks mounting comeback

Atlanta trailed by double-digits early on, but has responded in the second quarter with more highlight plays on offense. Jalen Johnson 19 points, five rebounds and four assists at halftime. He still trails Tyrese Maxey in the scoring column, as the Philadelphia All-Star has a game-high 22 to keep his team ahead.

Quentin Grimes closed the half with five points in the final minute and has 11 so far. Kelly Oubre carried his hot start into the second frame as well, scoring 15 points in the first half.

Dyson Daniels picked up his 1,000th assist early against the 76ers. The former lottery selection is regarded for his defense while having a complementary offensive game. He’s among elite company when it comes to his versatility this early into his career.

Claxton on patrol โœ‹

Brooklyn big man ascended in Nets all-time rankings Saturday by recording his 600th career block. He’s the seventh player to enter the league since 2019-20 to reach 600 blocks.

The block came against Jalen Duren in the post, showing Claxton’s rim protection skills hold up against all five positions.

Sixers D turning into offense

The 76ers end the first quarter with a comfortable lead on the road in Atlanta thanks in large to active defense creating opportunities on offense. Tyrese Maxes has 15 points already and will need to be contained if Atlanta wants to win this one.

Bane & Banchero too much for Minnesota ๐Ÿ’ช

As the season progresses, Desmond Bane is putting together more impressive showings that reflect why Orlando acquired him in the offseason. His inside-the-arc creation is really expanding as he and Paolo Banchero combined for 56 in a 27-point win. Check out their best plays from today’s game below.

Together, they outshadowed Anthony Edwards’ game-high 34 points. It was the Magic’s third straight win as Minnesota’s five-game winning streak comes to an end. Julius Randle had one of the game’s best plays with this poster dunk in transition.

The Detroit Pistons are without All-Star Cade Cunningham tonight due to a quadriceps injury. He was initially listed as questionable following his 26-point effort in a loss to San Antonio Thursday. Jalen Duren was also questionable but is playing while Ausar Thompson joins Cunningham on the sideline with a sprained ankle.

Michael Porter hopes to guide the Nets to an upset win over the conference’s top team. MPJ is averaging a career high 23.9 points per game this season.

Early evening tip-offs

Four Eastern Conference teams hit the floor next as the Hawks host the 76ers and the Nets face the Pistons in Detroit. The former has big standings implications as Philadelphia enters in a three-way tie with Orlando and Miami.

The Hawks meanwhile are only three games behind Philadelphia with a 32-31 record and have a firm grasp of play-in positioning.
