The field is set
Miami (OH)’s victory over SMU wrapped up the First Four and set the stage for the tournament field. The RedHawks earned the No. 11 seed in the Midwest bracket and will take on No. 6 Tennessee in the first round.

RedHawk Redemption
Miami (OH) bounced right back from its first loss of the season and defeated SMU 89-79 in the First Four to clinch a spot against No. 6 seed Tennessee in the Midwest region. Eian Elmer scored 23 points, and Miami (OH) hit 16 3-pointers in the win.

Third time’s the charm
Prairie View A&M had qualified for the tourney twice before, but it earned its first tournament win by beating Lehigh in the First Four Wednesday night. Dontae Horn led the way with 25 points, and the Panthers locked up Lehigh’s leading scorer Nasir Whitlock and held him to five points. No. 1 Florida awaits Prairie View A&M.

Prairie View A&M reaches mountaintop
The Panthers ran away from Lehigh in the second half of their First Four matchup and earned a 67-55 win. Dontae Horn scored a game-high 25 points for Prairie View A&M, and the Panthers will move on to face No. 1 seed Florida in the South region.
