What we know about Wednesday’s NBA games

    • The Chicago Bulls rode a 65-53 second half to grab a 127-111 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
    • That was the largest margin of victory for Chicago this season.
    • Josh Giddey recorded the 24th triple-double of his career in that victory.
    • The Memphis Grizzlies grabbed an upset win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
    • Memphis held Minnesota to 40 percent from the field and 30 percent from three-point range in their upset win, while forcing 17 turnovers.

Grizzlies Defeat Wolves, 116-110

Memphis pulled off this impressive road upset thanks to a 55-48 second half.

The Grizzlies won with defense, holding the Timberwolves to 40 percent from the field and 30 percent from three-point range.

Jaren Jackson Jr led the way with 28 points, 12 rebounds, three assists and three blocks.

Jock Landale led the bench with 20 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and two steals.

Rudy Gobert led Minnesota with 18 points, 16 rebounds, four assists and four blocks.

Julius Randle had 21 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals.

Donte DiVincenzo provided 19 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and three steals.

Bulls Defeat Cavs, 127-111

Chicago needed this win, and they took care of Cleveland in dominant fashion.

They held the lead for the entirety of the second half, getting their lead up to 19 points at times in the fourth quarter.

That’s the largest margin of victory for the Bulls this season.

Josh Giddey recorded his 24th career triple-double, collecting 23 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists and two steals.

Nikola VučeviΔ‡ had 20 points, nine rebounds, four assists and two steals.

Coby White collected 25 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals.

Donovan Mitchell led Cleveland with 32 points and five assists.

Giddey has been posting triple-doubles at ease since his trade to Chicago, and he notched another one here.

The Aussie has 20 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists.

Neither team has attained a double-digit lead.

Memphis closed that quarter on a 21-7 run to take this lead.
