Angel Reese, the 7th overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, will be a member of the host commitee for the 2025 Met Gala in New York.

LeBron James will serve as honorary chair while WNBA’s Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky will be a member of the revived host committee, the Met’s Costume Institute announced Tuesday.

This revival of the “host committee” tradition brings a new slate of high-profile figures — basically a new slate of high-profile celebrities on top of the previously announced gala hosts: Pharrell Williams, Lewis Hamilton, Colman Domingo, A$AP Rocky and LeBron. (Vogue editor Anna Wintour, who oversees the gala each year, rounds out the list.)
