Jalen Williams is the defacto center for the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Oklahoma City Thunder (9-2) are one of the top teams in the Western Conference, but injuries are already starting to take a toll.
The Thunder had to adjust their starting lineup on the fly on Monday due to two injuries to their center rotation. Big men Isaiah Hartenstein and Chet Holmgren are banged up with hand and hip injuries, respectively, while backup center Jaylin Williams has been slowed by a hamstring strain since training camp.
Enter 6-foot-5 Jalen Williams. The Thunder slotted the third-year forward at center and he finished with 28 points, eight rebounds and six assists in their 134-128 win over the Clippers.
Will playing Jalen Williams at the center position be the solution? The Thunder hope he can step up to the challenge.
