The Philadelphia 76ers have re-signed guard Quentin Grimes to a one-year qualifying offer, according to reports. The team officially announced the signing on Wednesday.
A no-trade clause is included in the deal as Grimes looks to enter unrestricted free agency next summer.
Grimes was selected No. 25 overall by the LA Clippers in the 2021 NBA Draft and traded to the New York Knicks on Draft Night. After playing nearly three seasons for the Knicks, he had a short stint with the Detroit Pistons before being traded to Dallas.
He played 47 games in Dallas last season, where he averaged 10.2 points while shooting 39.8% from 3-point range. He joined the 76ers following the trade deadline, where he played the best basketball of his career – averaging 21.9 points in 28 games.
