The next era of Giannis Antetokounmpo’s NBA career with the Miami Heat will include a new jersey number.
The two-time Kia NBA MVP and 10-time All-Star, who the Heat officially acquired in a trade with Milwaukee on Monday, will change his uniform number to No. 7 after playing his entire career with No. 34.

The new uniform is available now on NBAStore.com. According to the Heat on X, “all Giannis jersey orders and personalized ‘ANTETOKOUNMPO’ No. 34 jerseys will be fulfilled with the new No. 7.”
Antetokounmpo bid farewell to the Bucks and the city of Milwaukee on Monday with a video message and sit-down interview with longtime Bucks play-by-play announcer Jim Paschke.
