Devin Booker overtakes Walter Davis, becomes Suns' franchise leader in points

For the better part of 10 seasons, Devin Booker has been getting bucket after bucket for the Suns, including a franchise-record 70 during his sophomore campaign.

And now, having put up 15,667 points, he has overtaken Walter Davis for the franchise’s all-time lead.

Booker finished Monday’s 121-119 overtime loss with 34 points (9-for-18 overall, 13-for-14 on free throws). That marked his third straight game with at least 30 points and his 10th such game since 2025 began.

A four-time All-Star, Booker has averaged 24.4 points in his career, shooting 35.6% from deep and 46.3% overall, with a peak scoring season of 27.8 ppg in 2022-23.

Booker is also No. 5 in Suns history in assists (3,287), No. 3 in field goals (5,471) and No. 2 in field goal attempts (11,803), No. 1 in 3-pointers made (1,360) and attempted (3,818) and No. 3 in free throws made (3,376) and No. 4 in free throw attempts (3,870).

“The city loves Devin,” coach Mike Budenholzer said of Booker’s connection to the franchise and region.
