Springer has appeared in 26 games for the Celtics this season, averaging 1.7 points per game in 5.4 minutes. He was a part of the Celtics’ championship team in 2023-24 after the Philadelphia 76ers dealt him to Boston at last season’s trade deadline.
Before the move to Boston, Springer was playing the most minutes in his three-year career while posting 4 ppg, 1.8 rpg and 1.1 apg in 11.8 mpg for the Sixers. He was a regular part of the team’s rotation in the month leading up to the 2024 trade deadline.
