Toumani Camara and Shaedon Sharpe have each committed to Portland for four more years.
The Trail Blazers have locked in a pair of potential building blocks, agreeing to four-year contract extensions with guard Shaedon Sharpe ($90 million) and forward Toumani Camara ($82 million) that could keep them in Portland through at least the 2029-30 season. The news was first reported by ESPN, while the Trail Blazers made the deals official later on Monday afternoon.
Sharpe, whom the Blazers drafted No. 7 overall in the 2022 NBA Draft, has developed a reputation as an fearsome dunker while his scoring output has improved in each of his three seasons. The 6-foot-6 guard’s shooting percentage notably shot up to a 45.2% mark from 40.6% a year ago, and his scoring topped out at a career-best 18.5 ppg.
An All-Defensive Second Team selection in 2024-25, Camara improved across the board in Year Two, averaging 11.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.5 steals in 32.7 minutes across 78 games. The 25-year-old’s 3-point shooting ticked up to 37.5% from 33.7% in his rookie season.
