LAS VEGAS – Kobe Sanders went off for a game-high 26 points as the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Washington Wizards, 108-94, at 2026 NBA Summer League on Wednesday.

Sanders made a trio of 3-pointers to go with three rebounds, five assists and one steal while shooting 9-for-17 from the field. The 50th pick in the 2025 NBA Draft led the Clippers, who had six players score in double-figures.

The score was all knotted at 25 apiece after a back-and-forth first quarter. Washington started to separate themselves with an eight-point advantage midway through the second, but LA rallied to grab a slight 52-51 edge at halftime. The contest had nine ties and 11 lead changes, with all but a single tie coming in the first half.

The Clippers didn’t let the halftime break kill their momentum. They won the third quarter by a score of 30-19 and went into the final frame up 82-70. An 8-0 Washington run made it 86-78 LA with a little more than six minutes remaining in the fourth. The Clippers turned to Sanders and Sean Pedulla to get them to the finish line, and they certainly delivered.
