SACRAMENTO – The Brooklyn Nets dominated the final three quarters en route to a 100-79 win over the Golden State Warriors Blue Team in the 2026 California Classic Summer League at Golden 1 Center on Monday.
Mikel Brown Jr., the No. 6 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, dropped 10 points and four assists with two 3-pointers in his Summer League debut.
The rookie out of Louisville was playing in his first game since late February, and he made several standout moves to the basket and some incredible passes.
Golden State led 28-24 after the first quarter and 38-28 with 7:22 remaining in the second, but the Nets shifted into high gear and seized control from there.
Brooklyn used a 20-2 run to take a 48-40 advantage with less than three minutes remaining in the first half, and the Nets entered halftime with a 56-46 lead. The Nets shot a scorching 65 percent from the field in the second quarter, thanks in large part to Egor Dëmin, who scored 10 of his game-high 23 points in the frame.
Dëmin, the No. 8 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, looked confident in his approach, racking up eight rebounds, five assists and two steals while shooting 7-for-12 from the field with two triples.
After posting 28 points in the first 10 minutes, Golden State went on to score 18, 16 and 17 points, respectively, over the final three quarters. Brooklyn outscored the Warriors 76-51 during that stretch, including a 29-17 advantage in the fourth.
For the Nets, Chaney Johnson finished with 19 points (7-9 FGs), seven boards, two steals and one block, while Tyler Bilodeau erupted for 18 points and six 3-pointers to go with five rebounds and two dimes.
Ben Saraf, the No. 26 overall selection in in 2025, tallied 15 points, three 3-pointers, seven assists, one steal and a game-best plus-28 point differential.
RJ Nembhard and Cameron Tyson led the way for Golden State with 14 points apiece.
Nick Boyd added 13 points, five assists and two steals, while Wade Taylor also chipped in 13 points.
Brooklyn finishes the California Classic with a 2-1 record, and the Warriors Blue squad went 0-3.
Both teams will now prepare for the Las Vegas Summer League, which begins Thursday, July 9.
The Warriors open against the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday (7 ET, ESPN), and the Nets will face the New York Knicks on Friday (6 ET, Prime Video).
