SACRAMENTO – Impressive performances from Marquel Sutton and rookie seventh overall pick Darius Acuff Jr. helped lead the Sacramento Kings to a 95-89 win over the Milwaukee Bucks at the 2026 California Classic Summer League on Monday night.

Sutton paced the Kings with 24 points, adding six rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal.

Acuff furnished 22 points – including a go-ahead 24-footer with 3:40 remaining – and posted three rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal.

Both teams were active and somewhat streaky on the offensive end in a first half. The second half was quite the contrast. The two teams combined for just 37 points in the third quarter and were only slightly more productive over the final 10 minutes.

Dylan Cardwell generated a 12-point, 12-rebound double-double that also included two assists, four steals and four blocks. Isaiah Stevens contributed nine points.

Zack Austin led the Bucks with 17 points off the bench, complementing them with three rebounds. Kam Jones registered 14 points and three assists.

This year’s No. 10 overall pick, Brayden Burries, making his Summer League debut, provided 12 points, two rebounds and one assist.

Bogoljub Markovic finished with 10 points, nine rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocks. Second-round pick Malique Lewis turned in nine points, five boards, three assists, two steals and one block.

The two teams return to action in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, with the Bucks opening against the Heat on Friday afternoon (4 ET, Prime Video) and the Kings facing the Clippers on Thursday night (11 ET, ESPN).
