Overview
Reynan dos Santos began his professional career in Brazil with Sesi Franca of the NBB before joining Overtime Elite in Atlanta, where he averaged 10.6 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game during the regular season before elevating his production during the playoffs when the Cold Hearts were dealing with injuries. Dos Santos earned FIBA U18 Americas Championship All-Star Five honors and was named the MVP of the FIBA U18 South American Championship in 2022. He represented Brazil at the 2023 FIBA U19 World Cup and the senior national team in 2025 at the FIBA AmeriCup. After returning to Brazil and playing for Pinheiros in the NBB, dos Santos moved to the G League’s Mexico City Capitanes for the 2025-26 season. In 15 games with the Capitanes, he averaged 10.1 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 22.8 minutes per game while shooting 46 percent from the field.
Analysis
Dos Santos is a smooth perimeter scorer with deep range and a quick release. He competes with energy and has solid size for a wing at 6-foot-4, giving him the frame to absorb contact on drives. His touch around the basket is developing, and his FIBA experience gives him a level of poise that younger prospects often lack. Defensively, he needs to add strength and improve his lateral movement to guard NBA-level wings.
Projection
Dos Santos projects as a floor-spacing wing who can provide shooting off the bench. His game draws comparisons to Gui Santos, a fellow Brazilian who took a similar developmental path through the G League before landing with Golden State, and to Landry Shamet, who’s a movement shooter that spaces the floor without needing the ball. Dos Santos will likely need more time in the G League to refine his game, but his shooting upside and international pedigree make him a worthwhile flier for a team willing to invest in development.
