Overview
Mark Mitchell tied for the lead in scoring at the 2022 McDonald’s All-American Game with 19 points, putting an exclamation mark on a high school career that earned him five-star status from Rivals and 247Sports. At Bishop Miege in Kansas, he averaged 21.6 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.8 blocks as a sophomore, claimed the DiRenna Award as the top player in the Kansas City area, and led the Stags to a Class 4A state championship. He transferred to Sunrise Christian Academy for his senior year and averaged 17.6 points and 6.3 rebounds before committing to Duke.
