Inks Exhibit 10 deal with Portland

Cooke will now get an opportunity to make Portland's roster as a two-way player. The 26-year-old guard spent the 2024-25 year with the G League's Oklahoma City Blue, and he also participated in the Las Vegas Summer League with the Heat. Over eight Summer League outings, Cooke averaged 8.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 0.9 steals in 19.7 minutes per game.

Returns to court for Israel

Avdija sat out Portland's final four games of the regular season with a thumb injury, but his presence back on the court this summer indicates he's fully recovered from the issue. The 2020 first-rounder shouldn't have any limitations for training camp this fall, and he's lined up as one of Portland's top playmakers for 2025-26. While he got off to a slow start a year ago, Avdija averaged 23.3 points, 9.7 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.0 steals in 33.6 minutes per game over 20 appearances after the All-Star break in 2024-25.

Joining Portland

Wesley, who was recently waived by the Wizards, was scooped up quickly by Portland. Wesley spent the past three seasons in San Antonio, where he accumulated career regular-season averages of 4.3 points, 2.4 assists and 1.2 rebounds on 40.9 percent shooting from the field. He'll be facing an uphill battle for playing time in Portland, however.
