Overview
Miller was born in Mallorca, one of the Balearic Islands in Spain. He began a notable rise in basketball beginning with Spanish youth squads CB Bahia San Agustin and Real Madrid Baloncesto. He was promoted to the senior team in December 2021, playing one game. In 2022-23, Miller moved to the U.S. and joined Florida State. He came off the bench for 13 of his 15 appearances as a freshman. He was promoted to a full-time starter role as a sophomore. In 24.8 minutes per game, the big man averaged 7.6 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.1 blocks.

Analysis
Offensively, Miller is most comfortable around the rim. He can finish with both hands through contact and is an effective cutter and lob-catcher. He’s smooth in transition and can pass, retaining skills he had as a guard before a growth spurt. Miller’s footwork and touch allow him to post up against smaller players. Experiments as a ball screen handler haven’t been great, but it feels like something he could potentially integrate into his game. His three-ball is a work in progress, though he wasn’t shy about taking them. As a sophomore, Miller went 24-for-82 (29%). There may be limited room to grow, as he shot just 44-for-79 (56%) on free throws. On defense, Miller’s greatest strength is his shot blocking, but he can do some work on the perimeter as well. Aside from his poor shooting, his primary weakness is his lack of strength. Miller’s lack of muscle may give him problems as a five-man in the NBA.

Projection
Miller is so raw of a prospect that his career could take plenty of different directions. Can he bulk up and play center? Will his three-ball start falling? Can he develop more as a playmaker in the halfcourt? His future may be determined by what direction a team pushes him to develop. A confident three ball could turn him into a Trey Lyles type. Ultimately, he’ll probably need some time in the G League before he potentially emerges as a rotation player.
